J.
Michael Furgason, D.D.S.
Dr.
Furgason was born and raised
in Oregon. He attended Oregon
State University, Brigham
Young University and The
University of Oklahoma College
of Dentistry from which
he received his Doctorate
of Dental Surgery in 1997.
While in Oklahoma, Dr. Furgason
also gained valuable experience
as part of the forensic
dentistry team that worked
at the site of the Oklahoma
City Bombing.
After graduation from dental
school, Dr. Furgason and
his family moved to Eugene
where he has practiced dentistry
ever since. In May 2003,
Dr. Furgason relocated his
practice to a new facility
on Coburg road.
Dr. Furgason has continued
his dental education with
emphasis on cosmetic dentistry
and implant dentistry. In
addition, he has served
in numerous local and state
dental leadership positions
including president of the
Lane County Dental Society
and Delegate of the Oregon
Dental Association House
of Delegates Annual meeting.
Dr.
Furgason finds his greatest
joy is in serving his patients.
He listens to their needs
and expectations, and through
artistic skill and an expert
eye for detail turns that
into healthy, beautiful
life-changing smiles. It’s
no wonder his practice is
filled with a variety of
young and senior patients
as well. His calming demeanor
and humor bring a sense
of security and assurance
to every patient.
Dr. Furgason and his wife
Amy, are the proud parents
of three sons and enjoy
spending time together as
a family. Some of their
favorite activities include
water sports, camping, traveling
and scuba diving.

which enables him
to focus on the clinical
details of dental
treatment. Talia’s
gentle personality
and kind spirit keep

Pat brings 30 years
of dental field experience
to our team. She enjoyed
dental assisting for
19 years in various
specialties including
general dentistry,
endodontics, and orthodontics.
For the Past 11 years
she has been able
to bring her experience

office administration
position. Her desire
is to bring smiles
from the heart by
assisting you with
